Parcel Deliveries at the Anchor

Writer: Jo KingJo King

We have had reports of thefts of packages from the postbox areas in the lobbies. Obviously this is a time of year for an upsurge in packages being delivered, but due to recent times, online ordering has increased anyway.

We are hoping to have some better solution to the CCTV situation, but in the meantime at least these things you could bare in mind to try and guard against this.

1/ If the firm you order from allows you to leave delivery instructions make it clear you do not want the parcel left in the common area.

2/ If a package does go missing you can contact JG to see if the CCTV can help in any way.

3/ Even if the company take a photo to prove they delivered it, this doesn’t absolve them from responsibility as one could challenge on the fact that a delivery person could take photo of a package, then take it away again. The delivery firm have the responsibility to deliver your goods safely so you should challenge them on that.
