The Anchor Owner’s AGM

         Your AGM Needs You

Owners, your Development and Committee need you!

The AOA AGM, Wednesday 6:30pm, 17th Jan 2024 at

Edinburgh College, Granton Campus, 350 West Granton Road, EH5 1QE

Apart from our own personal “Post Office Scandal” story with EWIC/( The Building Guarantee Insurers) and EY (Ernst Young, The Administrators), James Gibb’s Chief Executive, David Reid is due to attend. Also, there will be time to raise points on GHD, Granton Harbour Developments, (PIPAM charges.)

  • EWIC and EY: The Committee, AOAC, will have an update on these Insurance claims. As stated above, it is our own personal “Post Office Scandal.” We need owners’ support as despite numerous claims now accepted (cladding included), EY stands between us and this money and they are not making it easy. You may be shocked to find out why.

Note: EY’s CV includes their time as Auditors for the Post Office during the years of the Post Office Scandal.

  • James Gibb: Now is your chance to speak direct to David Reid, JG Chief Exec and he who heads the firm with the advertising slogan “James Gibb, Doing it the Right Way.”

Are they?

  • Granton Harbour Developments, GHD. Lastly, the third protagonist on Granton Harbour. These are the PIPAM charges. Over the summer, the AOAC were contacted by PIPAM, pressuring us to authorise JG to charge ~ £25,000 of owner’s money for a “Fatberg” that developed on The Harbour. If you want to know what a Fatberg is, and what other issues surround PIPAM,  please come along on Wednesday to have your say.

Owners Please Attend:

It is important.

It is Your Home, Your Investment.

Thanks, Anchor Owners’ Association Committee (AOAC)
